So here's a thing, ever since I heard Prince's song "Raspberry Beret" when it was first released and I was in my teens, I cannot listen to the lyrics and not immediately picture in my mind a young woman wearing only a raspberry beret - the power of the lyrics!

There's a seemingly growing number of film clips nowadays where the artist is nude, or somewhat nude (I don't like how some people think topless is nude), but the lyrics do not seem to mention nudity. So I just don't get the mental image...unless the lyrics mention nudity. I must add that I also had a mind block when Hannah Montana rode in nude on a wrecking ball...

Not that I don't enjoy seeing nudism in music videos - I appreciate Alanis Morissette walking around town naked in Thank U...but in Jagged Little Pill she says she actually recommends walking around naked in your living room and on hearing that I immediately image up her walking around nude in her living room.

So how about you - lyrics or imagery or both works on your mind best?
